Location: Sirebut Island, West Sumatra, Indonesia Taken while diving at 5 - 20 meters deep; August 2024
Size - Grade: 141,31 mm - F+
Remarks:
Upper lip damaged. Lip thick and in good condition. Siphon damaged and with bore holes (visible in the picture). Shield damaged. One smaller growth mark on the spire. Apex missing as usual.
Note: This species disappeared after the events of the tsunami in 2004. Only recently the speies was rediscovered on some localities in Indonesia. This is one of this potentially new population, back from being gone for 2 decades.
