Note: In my opinion, there are only 3 species of Labiostrombus (Doxander): L. vittatus; L. campbelli and L. japonicus. DNA must prove what it is for real. For now, I follow Maxwell (2022) for the species name and Irwin et al (2024) for the genus name, and call the elongated shell Labiostrombus operosus. In my personal collection, I classify this as a form of L. vittatus.
